Bayern 1

Bayern 1 is a German public radio station owned and run by Bayerischer Rundfunk. Its formal name, Bayern 1, stems from the program change of January 1, 1974. The station is geared at a middle-aged audience and, in addition to its Adult Contemporary music format, provides more recent mainstream music, information, and detailed regional reporting.
