HR1 Radio

hr1 is the successor to Radio Frankfurt, a radio program operated by the American occupation administration following World War II. The radio station was passed to the civil authority on January 28, 1949, following the issuance of a legal law. It primarily broadcasts in the state of Hesse and serves a wide audience with its broad programming.
