About Jump Radio
JUMP is a German public radio station owned and operated by Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk (MDR) that broadcasts throughout Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt, and Thuringia. It was launched as the successor to MDR Life on January 1, 2000, with an initial target audience of listeners aged 14 to 29. In August 2011, the station switched its focus to appeal to the 20 to 49 age bracket, expanding its music selection to include hits from the previous two decades as well as current chart-topping songs.
