About STAR SAT Radio
STAR SAT Radio is a German radio station known for its diverse blend of classics from the 1980s and 1990s, as well as modern tracks. Jo Lüders and Peter Pelunka founded it in Munich in 1987 as Germany’s first satellite radio station, first broadcasting via the ECS1, Kopernikus, and Astra satellites. The station’s reach expanded to numerous private FM stations throughout Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg, as well as South Tyrol up to Lake Garda.
