About Deutschlandradio Kultur
Deutschlandfunk Kultur is an ad-free cultural program recognized primarily for its lavish radio plays and feature films. Deutschlandradio Kultur intended to provide high-quality cultural content and was well-known for its in-depth cultural reporting, conversations, and broadcasts featuring classical music, jazz, and other genres. It also broadcasts programs about literature, drama, and art, focusing on intellectual and artistic discourse.
In 2018, Deutschlandradio Kultur amalgamated with Deutschlandfunk Kultur, another Deutschlandradio channel. The new station continues to provide a diverse range of cultural programming, with the same emphasis on cultural and intellectual content that Deutschlandradio Kultur was known for.
